
The Ancient Century 2 Unreal Engine 5 MMO will be created in the second half of 2019!
Recently, South Korean publisher Kakao Games announced its earnings conference call for the second quarter of 2023 including Ancient Century 2. According to this financial report, the MMORPG “Age of Ages 2,” built with the Unreal 5 engine, is expected to be completed in the second half of 2024. The game’s release date is, And more information will be announced at next year’s games show, possibly E3 or Gamescom.
Ancient Century 2 will be single-player focused
Kakao Games also stated that compared with the first game, “The Ancient Age 2” will focus more on the single-player storyline, but the game will still have much multiplayer content.
The predecessor, “The Ancient Century,” was officially launched in 2013 and has about 20 million players worldwide. Compared with the previous work, in addition to the improved visual effects of “Ancient Century 2”, Song Zaijing mentioned that the in-game trading system and the housing and customization system would be enhanced. The team expressed a vision for players to “live in towns with friends and even create their towns with guild members.”
The Unreal Engine 5-powered “The Ancient Century 2” is scheduled for release on Pc and consoles for gaming.
