The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra comes with an unorthodox camera island that stretches from one end to the other, adding a small screen to your mix. The successor, the 12 Ultra (the name doesn’t include Mi), also aims for an unorthodox look after some leaked cases. A colleague from the Dutch website LetsGo Digital provided a 3D concept rendering of the phone.

At the top of the circle is a fourth camera, which could be a ToF sensor or a shorter telephoto lens in the 2x3x range. The remaining cutouts are for LED flashes, light sensors, and PDAF.
Earlier this year, credible Leak Star revealed that Leica had signed a deal with Xiaomi and that the 12Ultra setup would carry the camera company’s logo. This has not yet been confirmed by brands that also work on Huawei, but such practices are not uncommon. ZEISS has several partners from vivo, Sony and even Nokia.
