Diablo 4: Blizzard Says Using Modifiers May Lead to Permanent Ban
Blizzard recently warned players of Diablo 4 that if they use any tool to modify the game, they may face the risk of a permanent title ban.
Blizzard on tools like TurboHUD for Diablo 4
BBlizzard suggested a program called TurboHUD that adds extra customizability choices to the game’s user interface. However, this tool is not free. Players need to pay a monthly fee of $12 through the developer’s Discord server to use it, and now they may lose their game account.
Blizzard explained that since Diablo IV is an online game, any tool that modifies the match could affect other players’ gaming experience.
Blizzard and Activision had extended the online requirement to other games with single-player modes, such as “Crash Bandicoot 4: The Time Has Come” and the recent “Call of Duty” series.
You will need an internet connection even if you purchase these games on the Steam platform. Currently, only StarCraft 2 and remastered versions of some Blizzard classics, such as StarCraft: Reforged, Warcraft 3: Reforged, and Diablo 2: Resurrection, allow offline play.
